HUJI Cam

Hello, 2019!
I have been wanting to post these photos in a while but got too distracted with Christmas and the year's end, and basically, all other things that take the capacity of my mind like my thesis research and my sudden decision to participate on iGEM 2019 as a part of Bielefeld University's Team.
So back to the point. Last year I discovered an app for smartphones called "HUJI Cam" that allows you to take pictures like analog cameras do. I have a real analog, 35 mm camera myself but out of curiosity, I still tried to install and use this app.
At first, I was pretty confused about almost everything. Like an analog camera, this app does not allow you to choose your own focus (in your normal camera you could do this by pressing your finger on the screen). After taking some photos, I was confused again about where they WENT. Heck. It took me some weeks "abandoning" the app until I realized they are all stored in the "lab" option. And from there, you could basically transfer the photos to your phone gallery. And here are some of my photos taken by this app.
In my opinion, the colors are nice and the lighting plays a big role in how the photos will turn out. However, no matter how "analog" it is designed to be, I still think that these photos obviously still look digital. Which is not a problem anyway. And if your phone has a good camera quality, then it will also enhance the quality of your HUJI cam pictures. Have fun experiencing this app!
