Japan Tag 2016 Düsseldorf

By Adila Apsara - 12:03

I'll blog about this right now even though this just happened yesterday. Before I lose my patience, okay? Okay.

So. Yesterday I went to Düsseldorf to attend the most (am I right?) popular Japanese Culture Festival in Germany. As expected, it would be full of delicious japanese foods, cosplays, cute anime merchandise, and all things you could ever dream of. Life is beautiful.

Well not for me though. It was my first time being there and for me, I wasn't really satisfied. Maybe because I know a lot of people who also went there and yet, I had to choose with whom I would like to go. I was torn between choosing group A and B, and not to mention my phone didn't get any signal and means danger when i got separated with my friend(s). The festival was also so full of people that it's hard for you to even move.

All rants aside, I did took some photos even though it was really so crowded that I didn't know what photos I could take? A pile of people? But they say we can find beauty everywhere, right? And so I did.

The beginning was at about 11AM I took the train from Bielefeld to Düsseldorf and it was so full. I was with one of my classmates, Marina, and we sneaked and found an empty stair and we sat there the whole journey until we arrived in Düsseldorf. Then we had lunch and headed to the so-crowded-festival.

The only photo of us where I look like a freaking 14 year old.

Not to mention I tried to dress myself as a japanese school girl and I think it was a success though I didn't get any full body photo of myself and just this one

Oh hey, middle schooler!

Okay now to the photos from the big camera..

This day could have been better. But it's okay.. I don't know if I would go again next year though.
